What a beauty, straight from the 80s, it’s oversized and it’s got it all going on; velvet, quilting, lace, embroidery in the form of colourful peacocks and sparkly beadwork throughout.
This jacket is fabulous, it’s all in the details ; the black satin quilted shawl collar, the stunning embroidered peacocks and the lace panels. The body is a deep aubergine velvet, the sleeves have black quilted panels with lace panels at the back and on the turn up cuffs, there are 2 pockets with quilted trim. The back features a large embroidered peacock with flowers a smaller bird. The front panel and curved hemline are also quilted and the jacket closes with 2 large decorative buttons.
It is an oversized fit and will work for a variety of sizes depending on the desired fit.
